Off-site SEO entails attempting to obtain backlinks to your website from outside sources. Social media, articles, blog posts, discussion boards, and other methods can all be used to generate links to your site. The more influential or legitimate the website that links back to you, the more significant the backlink’s impact on your search result rating.

When high-authority websites link to your blog entries, it boosts their authority and credibility. This is referred to as link juice. In addition, the value sent along by links helps your website rank higher in search engine results and attract more organic traffic.

Backlinks are the most common way Google determines this. Every content marketer’s successful off-page SEO plan includes link-building activities, but there are additional techniques to increase your website off-page, which we’ll also cover.

Even though the final aim is the same, on-page SEO and off-page SEO efforts are different. On-page SEO is concerned with the content you provide, but off-page SEO is concerned with how that content is received.
